17th Handicraft Business Fair set to kick off
Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal is all set to organize 17th Handicraft Business fair at Bhrikutimandap from November 28 to December 2.
Ministry of Industry Commerce and Supplies, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Nepal Tourism Board, Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Confederation of Nepalese Industries, Nabil Bank and, Nepal Chamber of Commerce are also collaborated with Handicraft Associations to make this fair successful.
Amid the press meet held on Monday, organizers of the fair disclosed that the true intention behind the organizing the fair is to promote Nepali handicraft products in national and international market. Organizers further revealed that preparations for the fair have been done and the association is totally ready to kick the fair.
A press statement further states that the fair is expected to shorten the distance between entrepreneurs, exporters and importers.
President of Federation of Handicraft Associations Dharmaraj Shakya said that this year some products are added in the fair like leather products.
Eight pavilion and 200 rooms are slated for the fair and that will showcase handicraft products from several districts. A total 20 stalls will exhibit products from foreign countries like India, China, America, Japan and many more.
The fair will be inaugurated by Minister for Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada.
