World Oral Health Day today: 'A happy mouth is a happy life'

KATHMANDU, March 20: The World Oral Health Day is being marked in different countries across the globe by organizing various awareness-raising programmes with the slogan 'A Happy Mouth is a Happy Life'. 



The World Health Organization along with dentists have advised cleaning teeth, having regular dental check-ups, and avoiding excessive sugar and processed foods.

They have stated that a healthy mouth is the foundation of a healthy life. 


At the call of the World Dental Federation, the Ministry of Health, the Dental Association, and various volunteer organisations will conduct dental health camps, workshops, and awareness campaigns in the community. 


This day has been observed since 2013. -
