Vice-president-elect Pun quits party’s positions

KATHMANDU, Nov 1: Vice-president-elect Nanda Bahadur Pun is taking oath of office and secrecy on Sunday.
 
President Bidya Devi Bhandari will administer oath to Pun amidst a special ceremony to be held at President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas at 2 pm.


The UCPN (Maoist) leader got elected as vice-president garnering 325 votes out of 547 vote cast during election held at Lhotse Hall of parliament on Saturday.

Meanwhile, issuing a press statement today, Pun said he has quitted all party’s positions.
