Value of foreign currencies remain unchanged

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at Rs 137.26, while the selling rate is Rs 137.86. On Saturday, the buying rate for the US Dollar was Rs 137.26, and the selling rate was Rs 137.86.

KATHMANDU, March 23: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at Rs 137.26, while the selling rate is Rs 137.86. On Saturday, the buying rate for the US Dollar was Rs 137.26, and the selling rate was Rs 137.86.


One euro's exchange rate is Rs 148.80 for buying and Rs 149.45 for selling. The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 177.67, while the selling rate is Rs 178.45. Similarly, the Swiss franc is valued at Rs 155.78 for buying and Rs 156.46 for selling.


The Australian dollar stands at Rs 86.36 for buying and Rs 86.73 for selling, while the Canadian dollar is exchanged at Rs 95.73 for buying and Rs 96.15 for selling. The buying rate for one Singapore dollar is Rs 102.88, while the selling rate is Rs 103.33.

For other major currencies, the exchange rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.21 for buying and Rs 9.25 for selling. The Chinese yuan stands at Rs 18.94 for buying and Rs 19.02 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is valued at Rs 36.59 for buying and Rs 36.75 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is exchanged at Rs 37.65 for buying and Rs 37.82 for selling.


The buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.05, and the selling rate is Rs 4.07. The UAE dirham is valued at Rs 37.37 for buying and Rs 37.53 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 31.05 for buying and Rs 31.18 for selling.


For other currencies, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.38, while the selling rate is Rs 9.42. The Swedish krona is exchanged at Rs 13.60 for buying and Rs 13.66 for selling, while the Danish krone is valued at Rs 19.95 for buying and Rs 20.03 for selling.


Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the exchange rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.66 for buying and Rs 17.73 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs 445.45 for buying and Rs 447.39 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 364.12 for buying and Rs 365.71 for selling. The Omani riyal is exchanged at Rs 356.59 for buying and Rs 358.15 for selling. The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees is set at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.


The central bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time if necessary. It also noted that commercial banks may set different exchange rates based on the open market, and the latest rates will be available on the central bank's website.
