US dollar remains unchanged

Nepal Rastra Bank has set today's foreign exchange rates. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar remains at Rs 136.46, while the selling rate stays at Rs 137.06. The value of the dollar remained unchanged from the previous day.

KATHMANDU, March 30: Nepal Rastra Bank has set today's foreign exchange rates. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar remains at Rs 136.46, while the selling rate stays at Rs 137.06. The value of the dollar remained unchanged from the previous day.


The buying rate for one European euro is Rs 146.99, and the selling rate is Rs 147.63. One UK pound sterling is valued at Rs 176.42 for buying and Rs 177.19 for selling. Similarly, the buying rate for one Swiss franc is Rs 154.51, and the selling rate is Rs 155.19.


For the Australian dollar, the buying rate is Rs 85.86, and the selling rate is Rs 86.24. The Canadian dollar stands at Rs 95.24 for buying and Rs 95.66 for selling. Likewise, the Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 101.66 and a selling rate of Rs 102.10.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.05, while the selling rate is Rs 9.09. One Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 18.78 for buying and Rs 18.87 for selling. The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 36.38, while the selling rate is Rs 36.54. Similarly, the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 37.44 for buying and Rs 37.60 for selling.


According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.01 and a selling rate of Rs 4.03. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 37.15, while the selling rate is Rs 37.32. The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 30.75 for buying and Rs 30.89 for selling. The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.29, and the selling rate is Rs 9.34. The Swedish krona is valued at Rs 13.57 for buying and Rs 13.63 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 19.70 for buying and Rs 19.79 for selling.


Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.54 and the selling rate at Rs 17.62. One Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 442.51 and a selling rate of Rs 444.45. The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 361.97 for buying and Rs 363.56 for selling. Likewise, the buying rate for one Omani riyal is Rs 354.46, while the selling rate is Rs 356.02. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.


Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that it may revise these exchange rates at any time as needed. It also noted that commercial banks may set different rates, and the latest updates can be found on the central bank's website.
