KATHMANDU, June 26: A lightning strike in Kailali district has claimed the lives of two people and left six others severely injured.
The deceased have been identified as Jayram Dagaura, 31, of Joshipur-3, and Shalim Chaudhary, 27, of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-18.

According to Kabindra Singh Bohora, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Kailali, the victims were working in a field when the lightning struck them on Wednesday morning.
