MAKWANPUR, August 1: Two persons were killed when a Hetauda-bound truck (Na 6 Kha 1500) collided head-on with a Basamadi-bound motorcycle (Na 38 Pa 5332) at Basamadi in Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City along the Mahendra Highway on Wednesday evening.

The dead have been identified as Saurav Subedi and Asmita Sunar, one of them was a motorcycle rider and another pillion passenger.
Sunar died at Old Medical Hall in Chitwan, and Subedi at Churehill Hospital in Hetauda, said the police.
