Two Indians held with Nepali currency

JANAKPURDHAM, Dec 19: Police have arrested two Indian nationals at Nagarain-1 in Dhanusha district with a big amount of Nepali currency.

The Armed Police Force (APF) Border Outpost stationed at Jatahi arrested Gudi Murarka, 28, of Basopatti-8 of Madhuwani district in India based on a tip-off.

Similarly, arrested with illegally possessed around Rs 5.6 million in the incident was Kumar Paswan, 30, from the same place, according to Police Inspector Shambhu Katuwal.

The Indian duo was riding to Janakpur on a motorcycle tagged 'On Test' with the cash stashed in its carrier.

Police have taken both the Indian nationals and motorcycle under their control for further investigation.RSS
