Kavrepalanchowk, Aug 20: A motorcyclist died after a truck hit him near Keraghari of Panchkhal municipality-5 along the Araniko Highway on Wednesday.
Rupesh Kharel, 35, a resident of Chaurideurali rural municipality, was injured seriously when the truck heading to Panchkhal hit him. The heavy vehicle hit Kharel while he attempted to overtake it, according to the Area Police Office, Panchkhal.

Kharel was rushed to the Dhulikhel Hospital, but the doctors declared that he had already breathed his last.
Truck driver Madhav Kumar Badal has been taken under control and the vehicle impounded for further investigation.
