BANEPA, Dec 17: Kathmandu University (KU) Registrar Dr Bhola Thapa has been appointed the acting vice chancellor of the varsity.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday appointed Thapa as KU's acting Vice Chancellor. PM Dahal is also the Chancellor of the KU.

Thapa has been appointed the acting vice chancellor until further arrangement following a dispute in the selection committee regarding the appointment of vice chancellor, KU Press Coordinator, Hari Manjushree said.
KU has remained without a vice chancellor for a week. The official term of the then KU Vice Chancellor, Dr Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, had ended on December 11. RSS
