The areas from Koshi Barrage to Itahari and Budhi khola of Duhabi to Itahari have been declared as crisis-hit zone.With the declaration of crisis-hit zone, Nepal Army personnel have come out to the streets and started patrolling along the road.
Chief District Officer Rabilal Pantha confirm the move and added that they are forced to so as the protesters launched demonstrations in the areas with home-made weapons.
He further said that security situation in the district has been tightened with the mobilization of army.
