Students greet PM Bhattarai with black flags

KATHMANDU, March 12: Nepal Students Union (NSU), a student union affiliated to Nepali Congress (NC) greeted Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, who is also the chancellor of the Tribhuvan University (TU) with black flags on Monday.



The students waved black flags at PM Bhattarai who reached TU, Kirtipur to take part in a program. [break]



NSU has been agitating demanding announcement of election for Free Students Union (FSU). "If the date for the election is not announce soon, we will take stern action," said NSU leader Nain Singh Mahar.



The NSU had submitted signatures of over two lakhs students to TU vice-chancellor and registrar demanding FSU election.
