These positions of spokesperson and general secretary had remained vacant since the expulsion of former spokesperson and general secretary Mukul Dhakal from the party. On Friday, the Election Commission said it recognized Dhakal as the RSP spokesperson and general secretary, as the party had not notified the commission about Dhakal’s removal through the proper channel.
However, the party will announce its formal decision by issuing a press release at 11 a.m.
