RPP MP Bohora passes away

Bohora had been ill for a long time and passed away on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at Om Hospital in the capital, according to Speaker Devraj Ghimire’s Secretariat.

KATHMANDU, April 1: Senior leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Member of Parliament (MP) Dipak Bohora has passed away.  


He had been ill for a long time and passed away on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at Om Hospital in the capital, according to Speaker Devraj Ghimire’s Secretariat.

He was a sitting Member of Parliament (MP) elected from Rupandehi Constituency No. 3. Due to post-COVID complications, he was unable to speak. Bohora had contracted COVID-19 during the second wave of the pandemic in May 2020.  


As his condition worsened, he traveled to New York, USA, for treatment. Since then, he had been undergoing speech therapy.
