KATHMANDU, Oct 26: There will be rainfall at a couple of places in the hilly areas of the country today. The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that there is partial influence of western winds in the western region of Nepal.
According to the officials of the MFD, the weather is generally clear in the hilly areas of the country and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.
Light to moderate rainfall likely in some parts of the country...
It is said that the weather will be generally clear in the remaining parts of the country with partly cloudy skies this afternoon. There is also a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country.
There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of the country.
Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country and the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country tonight.
The officials of MFD have urged residents to take necessary precautions as there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country and light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas.
