KATHMANDU, Mar 1: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced power cuts in areas such as Satungal and surrounding areas of Kathmandu today.
In a notice, the NEA explained that it will cut electricity in areas under the Balambu feeder, including Kanchan Gate, Bosigaun, Bauthli, and Satungal Chowk, as works related to the upgrading conductor capacity will be taking place.

The power cuts will occur from 11 AM to 4 PM today. The NEA apologized for the inconvenience caused to customers and stated that if the work finishes early, power will be restored before the scheduled time.
Additionally, the Mainpani Substation construction project has announced that power will be disrupted in areas like Baneshwor Distribution Center, Maharajgunj Distribution Center, Ratnapark, Jorpati, Balaju, and Kuleshwar Distribution Center until this evening. The NEA stated that technical work at the under-construction substation will disrupt power supply in these areas.
