He mentioned that the government recently concluded the National Labor and Employment Conference with the aim of expanding domestic production and productivity to create a sustainable base for internal employment. He also pointed out that in today’s globalized world, citizens from even the most developed and wealthy countries are increasingly traveling abroad for business, employment, and education opportunities according to their preferences.

PM Oli stated, “That the youth of the country going abroad should be viewed entirely negatively is incorrect. The duality of viewing going abroad as a source of pride on an individual level, while perceiving it as a negative commentary on a social level, has conveyed a negative message.”

He further added, “Previously, there were limited options for livelihood, but today, those options have expanded. Our youth have also taken advantage of the opportunity to go to any corner of the world. However, this does not mean that we have remained inactive in creating opportunities for entrepreneurship and employment within the country.”
