BIRENDRANAGAR, Sept 22: A truck collision in Bheriganga Municipality–12, Padule, Surkhet, left one person dead and another seriously injured on Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred when an empty truck (Na 5 Kha 5608) traveling from Surkhet to Nepalgunj hit a motorcycle (Lu Pra 03001 Pa 3631) coming from Chhinchu toward Surkhet.

Police reported that a man, approximately 21–22 years old, died while receiving treatment at Surkhet Provincial Hospital. The other rider, 19-year-old Daman Shahi, sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at Maya Medical, Chhinchu.
The truck, its driver, and the motorcycle have been taken into police custody, and an investigation is underway, said Padam Khatri, chief of Chhinchu Police Station.
