New outlet of Tarunika's Collection in town

KATHMANDU, Sept 20: New outlet of Designer Tarunika Mahato’s fashion store, Tarunika´s Collection, has been opened at Shovahity, Lalitpur, the former one being in operation at Kupondole since 13 years.



Actress Karishma KC Manandhar and Director Samjhana Upreti Rauniar jointly inaugurated the store on September 19. [break]



"I’m impressed with Tarunika’s designs. I’ve already worn many of her designs in my films,” said Manandhar after the inauguration. “I really like the dresses designed by her so I wear them in many special occasions too," she added.



"We’ve used dresses designed by her in our upcoming film Megha, and we all are really happy with her work,” said Director Rauniar.



Designer Mahato, who has designed dresses for the actors in more than 50 Nepali and Bhojpuri films, has introduced ready-to-wear, custom-made and specially designed dresses for women in her store. Dresses suitable for various occasions are available.



“I’ve opened the stores with an aim to offer beautiful dresses at affordable prices,” shared Mahato.



Mahato has already received many awards for her work including National Film Award, Motion Picture Award and Best Designer Award in the past. Her dresses have also been featured in many fashion shows including a SAARC Fashion Show.
