KATHMANDU, Sept 23: Nepal triumphed over Sri Lanka with a commanding 4-0 win in the SAFF U-17 Championship match held at Changlimithang Stadium in Bhutan on Monday.

Nepal's Sujan Dangol led the charge with a hat-trick, while Bigyan Khadka added another goal. Nepal established a 3-0 lead by halftime. Earlier, Nepal faced a narrow 0-1 defeat against Pakistan in Saturday's match. The next group match between Bhutan and Pakistan is scheduled for Monday evening.
