KATHMANDU, Dec 23: The main opposition party, the CPN (Maoist Center), has sought the resignation of the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Rishikesh Pokharel.
Speaking at the committee meeting on Monday, Maoist Center MP Aman Lal Modi sought the resignation of PAC Chairman Pokharel.

Modi said, “There is a matter of check and balance. It is a practice for the PAC chair to be from the opposition party. You yourself belong to the ruling party. The government is also concerned about the matter. Therefore, it would be good if you could pave the way.”
