Maoist CC meet begins

KATHMANDU, July 8: The Central Committee meeting of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) started at Parisdanda, Koteswore on Wednesday, according to our correspondent Post Basnet.

A report by the party’s chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal was presented at the meeting. Thirteen committees will separately discuss the report and a full meeting expected to sit Thursday will come up with a final report incorporating recommendations from the committees.

Earlier, Dahal inaugurated the new building in Parisdanda purchased by his party for Rs 30 million. From Wednesday, the party’s central office has formally shifted from Buddhanagar to the building in Parisdanda.
