The deceased has been identified as 63-year-old Jaya Prasad Gautam of Prithivinagar-1, Jhapa. Gautam was reportedly working at a field near his home when he was caught across the sudden discharge of electricity from the clouds above. He died on the spot, according to DSP at the District Police Office Jhapa, Biswamani Pokharel. RSS
