KATHMANDU , March 13: Laxmi Bank has opened a new branch office in Kalanki, Kathmandu. The new branch office is the bank's 14th in Kathmandu Valley and 47th in the country.
The new office aims to offer a wide range of banking services for the entire economic spectrum -- from individuals to small and midsized businesses, a statement issued by the bank said.

Laxmi Bank now has a network of 47 branch offices, two extension counters and 60 ATM terminals spread across the country.
The bank closed the Financial Year 2014/15 with a balance sheet size of Rs 45.8 billion with deposits and risk assets of Rs 39.9 billion and Rs 31.5 billion, respectively, according to the statement.
