Khadka takes lead with 471 votes

KATHMANDU, March 12: Khum Bahadur Khadka has taken lead in the race for 25 Central Working Committee (CWC) members of Nepali Congress (NC) under open category as 903 votes have been counted till Saturday afternoon.

Khadka has received 471 votes and is followed by Dr Sekhar Koirala at 469 votes.

Prakashman Singh is in third position garnering 467 votes.

Pradip Poudel (460), Ramesh Lekhak (447) and Purna Bahadur Khadka (445) are fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.
