KC elected NC Nuwakot president

NUWAKOT, Feb 14: Jagdishwor Narsingh KC has been elected the president of Nepali Congress Nuwakot District Committee, defeating his rival Ramesh Mahat.

KC got 332 votes in the election while Mahat bagged support of 318 voters.


KC of establishment faction won the entire panel in the voting though his team was considered comparatively weaker in the elections of the constituencies.

Likewise, Surendra Raj Adhikari was elected the secretary with 343 votes by defeating his contender Shreeram Shrestha. Shrestha got 274 votes. In the voting held on Saturday, a total of 663 voters had used their voting right. RSS
