Talking at a program in the capital today, Secretary at the Ministry of Education Bishwa Prakash Pundit shared that the government had initiated construction works aimed at reconstructing the damaged building of the community schools.
He added that such school buildings would be quake resistance.
About 75 per cent students have turned up after schools reopened on Sunday, said HISAAN chair Umesh Shrestha, also speaking at the program.
Various other speakers at the program pointed out the needed of imparting psychological counseling to the students. RSS
