Gold price rises by Rs 5,000 in a single day, silver also sees a sharp increase

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association reported that the price of gold climbed to Rs 189,800 per tola, marking an increase of Rs 5,000 from Tuesday's rate of Rs 184,800 per tola.

KATHMANDU, May 21: Gold prices rose significantly in the Nepali market on Wednesday. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association reported that the price of gold climbed to Rs 189,800 per tola, marking an increase of Rs 5,000 from Tuesday's rate of Rs 184,800 per tola.

Silver prices also went up. Dealers are trading silver at Rs 1,990 per tola today, which is Rs 50 more than yesterday's price of Rs 1,940 per tola.
