‘Former King should stay within boundaries of constitution’

The constitution has placed the former king at the level of a citizen. We want the former king to remain within the boundaries of the constitution. The former king should open a party and move forward as a citizen.

KATHMANDU, March 28: The chairman of the Nepal Socialist Party (NSP), Mahendra Raya Yadav, has stated that reactionary and revivalist forces have become active.

Speaking at a rally organized on Friday at Exhibition Road in Kathmandu, Yadav made this statement. “Reactionaries have become active, revivalists have become active. In opposition to this, the Socialist Front will raise awareness,” he said. 


Yadav also mentioned that the former king is placed as a citizen by the constitution.“The constitution has placed the former king at the level of a citizen. We want the former king to remain within the boundaries of the constitution,” he said, “The former king should open a party and move forward as a citizen.”
