KATHMANDU, Oct 29: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 140.93 and the selling rate is Rs 141.53.
Similarly, the buying rate for one euro is Rs 164.27 and the selling rate is Rs 164.97. The buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 187.54 and the selling rate is Rs 188.34. One Swiss franc is priced at a buying rate of Rs 177.38 and a selling rate of Rs 178.14.

The buying and selling rates for other major currencies are as follows: one Australian dollar at Rs 92.40 and Rs 92.79, one Canadian dollar at Rs 100.68 and Rs 101.11, and one Singapore dollar at Rs 108.82 and Rs 109.29 respectively.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.27 and the selling rate is Rs 9.31. One Chinese yuan is priced at Rs 19.85 (buying) and Rs 19.93 (selling). The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 37.58 and Rs 37.74, while one Qatari riyal is set at Rs 38.66 and Rs 38.83.
According to NRB, one Thai baht is valued at Rs 4.34 (buying) and Rs 4.36 (selling), one UAE dirham at Rs 38.37 and Rs 38.53, and one Malaysian ringgit at Rs 33.57 and Rs 33.72. Similarly, 100 South Korean won are priced at Rs 9.81 (buying) and Rs 9.86 (selling). One Swedish krona is at Rs 15.03 and Rs 15.09, while one Danish krone is at Rs 21.99 and Rs 22.09.
The Hong Kong dollar stands at Rs 18.14 (buying) and Rs 18.22 (selling), the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 459.70 and Rs 461.66, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 373.84 and Rs 375.44, and the Omani rial at Rs 366.04 and Rs 367.60.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is set at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
The central bank stated that these rates may be revised as needed and that commercial banks may have slightly different rates. Updated exchange rates are available on NRB’s official website.
