Prasai had been teaching at Bagmati Secondary School and College in Sukedhara for the past five years. He filed a complaint demanding his reinstatement as per the Labor Act as the institution where he was working prohibited him from his regular attendance and work.

In the complaint, Prasai has stated that he started working as a part-time teacher at the college from January 17, 2017. He started working as a full-time teacher there from July 17, 2018.

However, Prasai mentioned that the college administration banned him from appearing in the ‘Comedy Hub’ television series, which highlighted the issue of exorbitant fees charged by private schools and colleges.

Prasai has also demanded that the college allow him to take classes regularly and provide him his salary and other perks and benefits that have not been paid to him since last June.
