A Chinese wedding photography chain, Milan International Wedding Photography, has over 260 branches and it officially opened a branch in Nepal in January 2012.[break]
To mark its official launch and to give a taste of the concept, Milan International Wedding Photography is working with We Fear Silence (WFS) Events to bring together an exclusive night, La Exclusiva.
“The objective behind the concept is to introduce wedding photography to the market here in Nepal,” says Ritesh Marwadi, Director of WFS, adding, “La Exclusiva is the most ambitious initiative that WFS has ever taken up.”
The organizers promise that the night is going to be a unique affair with fashion show sequences from Milan International Wedding Photography and also one sequence from House of Fashion, the fashion partner of this event.
“Apart from Milan International’s own sequence which is going to feature wedding attires as well as makeup, both of which have been brought from China, we will also incorporate a sequence which showcases Nepali wedding sarees,” shared Marwadi. “Plus, the stage itself will be set up like a studio to add to the feel of wedding photography.”
La Exclusiva derives its name from the fact that this event only caters to a certain crowd of corporate people, socialites, celebrities, fashionistas, party lovers and people above the age of 21.
“This is an invitees-only event because we’re only targeting those people who will value this kind of photography and can afford it,” said Marwadi.
According to him, a session of wedding photography, depending on how much the clients want to spend, ranges from Rs 500 and can go up to Rs 1.5 to 2 million.
Realizing the fact that fashion alone can’t wholeheartedly entertain the audience, Mukti & Revival will also be performing live at the venue. The night will conclude with a dance party with DJ Rabbit and DJ BPM.
