KATHMANDU, Aug 31: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, today visited the flood-affected areas in Trishuli, Nuwakot.
During the visit, he inspected the various hydropower projects affected by the Trishuli river flood and took stock about the ongoing rescue works.

He also held a meeting with Home Minister Sudan Gurung at Trishuli-based Military Training Centre, according to Minister Shrestha's Secretariat.
The Home Minister is coordinating the relief efforts by staying within the Centre.
During the visit, the NA senior officials briefed Minister Shrestha of the latest progress in the rescue of those trapped in tunnels of Trishuli-based hydropower projects.
