Efforts are underway to bring other parties in govt: DPM

KATHMANDU, March 27: Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Finance Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari on Sunday said that efforts to bring the Nepali Congress (NC) and Madhes-based parties in the government are underway.



Talking to the media persons in the capital, the DPM said the government is holding talks with the NC and Madesh-based parties to forge political consensus in this regard and conclude the peace and constitution writing process on time. [break]



He added that the main objective of the present coalition is to take peace process to its logical end and promulgate the constitution.



The CPN (UML) leader Adhikari said that the PM has given high priority to other parties´ participation in the government as this government´s task is to complete the peace process and promulgate the new constitution.
