Demand to form high level probe committee

KATHMANDU, March 7: The Nepali Congress parliamentarians representing Province No 2 have met separately with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi and asked them to form a high level committee to probe the Saptari incident.  Condemning the incident which claimed the lives of three persons, they demanded that the one opening fire at people be suspended.

KATHMANDU, March 7: The Nepali Congress parliamentarians representing Province No 2 have met separately with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi and asked them to form a high level committee to probe the Saptari incident. 

Condemning the incident which claimed the lives of three persons, they demanded that the one opening fire at people be suspended. 


The PM and DPM were further demanded that they take action against the guilty ones, provided compensation to the families of the deceased and ensured free treatment of the injured ones, said NC lawmaker Ranjit Karna.

In response, PM Dahal expressed grief over the incident and urged for assistance from all sides to bring the situation to normal. 


Similarly, DPM Nidhi said he had already directed for the free treatment of the injured ones. RSS
