NEW DELHI, Nov 10: At least eight people were killed and 19 injured when a car exploded in the heart of the Indian capital on Monday, New Delhi's deputy fire chief told AFP.

Citing authorities at a hospital near the blast site, deputy chief fire officer AK Malik said that "eight people have died so far and 19 are injured."
