Crook netted for fleecing woman of Rs 2.18

KATHMANDU, June 12: Police have arrested a staffer of Green Pages Publication House for swindling a woman by promising her lucrative jobs in America.

Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD), Teku, Kathmandu arrested 38-year-old Naresh DC of Salyan, Kotwara-9.


DC had been at large after taking Rs 2.18 million along with passport from a woman of Kaski, Lekhanath Municipality-12, by promising her jobs in the United States of America.

Police have recovered various documents including passports, credentials and bio-data of different people from DC's office based in Thamel.

MPCD has handed DC over to Metropolitan Police Range Office, Kathmandu.
