KATHMANDU, Sept. 4: China has said it will continue sharing information related to emergency hydrological monitoring with Nepal.
The Chinese Embassy in Nepal said the assistance will support rescue and disaster relief efforts. The information will also include risks arising from obstructions in rivers and glacial lakes.

China’s meteorological authorities said they have been providing Nepal with weather monitoring, forecasting, early warning and impact assessment services since a massive landslide occurred along the Kerung-Rasuwa border between China and Nepal.
Immediately after the disaster, Chinese authorities held a video consultation on weather conditions with Nepal’s Department of Hydrology and Meteorology and have been actively providing meteorological assistance for Nepal’s rescue and relief operations.
