China PLA chief wraps up visit

KATHMANDU, March 25: China´s People´s Liberation Army Chief Gen. Chen Bingde left for China wrapping up his three-day Nepal visit on Friday. He was here on the invitation of Nepal Army Chief Gen. Chhatra Man Singh Gurung.



Lt. Gen Toran Jung Bahadur Singh saw off him at Tribhuvan International Airport.[break]



During Gen. Chen´s visit he, on behalf of the Government of China, signed a military assistance worth Yuan 40 million with his Nepali counterpart Gen. Gurung.



He met President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal.
