CAN announces free entry for Women's T20I Series at TU Int’l Ground

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has made arrangements to watch all the matches for free without tickets. CAN has announced that entry will be allowed without tickets, calling for support for the Nepali women's cricket team throughout the series.

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: The entry to watch the matches of the women's T20I series involving Nepal, the Netherlands and Thailand, which will begin in Kathmandu from January 30 (Thursday) has been made free.


The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has made arrangements to watch all the matches for free without tickets. CAN has announced that entry will be allowed without tickets, calling for support for the Nepali women's cricket team throughout the series.

In the series to be held from January 30 to February 7 at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, all the teams will play 3-3 matches against each other. 


The first match of the series will feature the Netherlands and Nepal, followed by the two visiting teams on January 31. On February 1, Nepal will play against Thailand. The host's second and third matches against the Netherlands and Thailand are scheduled for February 2 and 5, and February 4 and 7, respectively.


The Nepali team for the series has also been announced. CAN has announced a 15-member team under the captaincy of Indu Barma. Along with captain Indu, the team includes former captain Rubina Chhetri, Sita Rana Magar, Puja Mahato, Alisha Kumari Yadav, Bindu Rawal, Samjhana Khadka, Kabita Kunwar, Mamta Chaudhary, Kabita Joshi, Rewati Dhami, Roma Thapa, Rajmati Airee, Manisha Upadhyaya and Ishwari Bista.
