According to Minister for Information and Communications, Raj Kishor Yadav, the government also decided to give permission to the Department of Archeology to take idols of Lord Gautam Buddha to different towns in China for exhibition, to provide Rs. 500,000 to Chitra Prasad Wagle, Medical Superintendent working at the District Hospital in Arghakhanchi district for treatment.
Wagle, who had been deputed in the treatment of poor people in rural areas since long, has now been suffering from serious illness for the past few months.
Minister Yadav said the meeting also decided to give permission to the Ministry of Forests to cut 272 trees in the surveyed area of road in connection with constructing Kavre-Khopasi-Taldhunga rural road and for organizing a meeting of lawmakers of Asia Pacific Region in Nepal.
Likewise, the government also decided to provide Rs. 45.9 million as a grant to Agricultural Inputs Company to pay loans and interests taken by the company from different banks while purchasing chemical fertilizers.
The meeting decided to promote Sukadev Khatri, working at the Office of the Auditor General, to the post of Deputy Auditor General.
