Bikers reach Nyalam

KATHMANDU, July 20: A Yamaha FZ team headed to Mt Everest under ´Road Trip to Everest´ campaign reached Nyalam of Tibet on Sunday. The team stayed for a day in Nyalam for acclimatization, says a press release issued on Monday by Morang Auto Works.



A team of 10 riders including singer Nima Rumba, National Player Dipak Bista and mediaperson Suraj Singh Thakuri and lucky winners had left Kathmandu on Saturday for the Everest base camp. Nyalam is located just a few kilometers away from Jangmu at an altitude of 3,750 meters.



The team is guided by Chinese guide affiliated with Sacrad Summit from Jangmu. “The team will have to spend a night in cold environment of minus 7 degree Celsius at Nyalam,” added the release. The trip was organized to prove excellent performance of the bike even in unfavorable climatic conditions.
