Bhim Rawal’s group to merge with Nepali Communist Party

According to party sources, the merger aims to send a new message of unity within Nepal’s communist movement.

KATHMANDU, Nov 12: The faction led by former CPN-UML Vice-chair Bhim Rawal under the banner of Matribhumi Jagaran Abhiyan, Nepal is set to officially merge with the Nepali Communist Party on Wednesday. 



The formal unification ceremony will be held this afternoon at the City Hall, where Rawal will officially join the Nepali Communist Party. The event will be attended by the party’s coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal, co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal, and Rawal himself, among other leaders.
