Chairman of the Eco Grow Cooperative of Jomsom, Kul Bahadur Thakali, said the campaign was launched, aiming at bringing revolution with the apple farming in coming ten years in the district.
The Cooperative has planned to plant the apple seedlings in 2,400 ropanis of land.
Initially, eight thousand apple seedlings have been planted in 6 ropanis of land, and 85,000 seedlings were being prepared.
The farmers have been attracted towards apple farming to meet the growing need of the Mustang apples in the country.
Nineteen thousand apple seedlings are prepared in Mustang every year.
Agriculture Conservation Officer at the District Agriculture Development Office, Mustang, Surya Bahadur Bogati, claimed that Mustang apples would sharply reduce the import of apples within few years.
