16 injured in Udaypur jeep accident

UDAYPUR, Oct 8: As many as 16 passengers were injured when a jeep (Ba 6 Pa 9884) en route to Ghurmi from Katari met with an accident at Katari of Udaypur district along Siddhicharan Lokmarga on Saturday afternoon.



Six critically injured passengers have been referred to BP Memorial Hospital, Dharan after primary treatment at Katari Hospital, police said.



The accident occurred while the jeep was allowing a bus from the opposite direction to pass by.



Driver and his assistants are absconding.
