The unification process between the Janamat Party and Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) has reached its final stage, with Janamat Party Chairman Dr. CK Raut and NUP Patron Resham Chaudhary actively engaged in discussions.

Despite maintaining continuous dialogue between NUP patron Chaudhary and JP chair Raut, NUP Chairperson Ranjita Shrestha is opposed to unity.

Currently, the chairman of the JP Dr Raut and Patron of NUP Resham Chaudhary are working to prepare a 'strong' basis for unity through a series of dialogues.
