Udaypur murderer confessed his deeds

UDAYPUR, July 11: Lalit Bahadur Rai, on Monday has confessed to killing his neighbor’s family in an inebriated state.

He was arrested by the police who suspected his involvement in the murder of four persons of a family at Thumki village; Thanagaon in Udaypur. [break]

Rai was the neighbor of the murdered family whose house is located at a 15-minute walking distance from the house where the murder happened.

 Rai was arrested the next day after the incident. Keshar Bahadur Magar, 45, who worked as a laborer, his 40-year old wife Harkamaya and their two teenage daughters -- 10-year-old Ranju and six-year-old Premi were murdered by Rai.

Magar´s two other daughters Kumari and Manju survived as they were not in the house. Kumari was staying in Katari, while Manju was sleeping at a neighbor´s house.
