'Traffickers' held

PATHARI (Morang), March 15: Morang Police has arrested two people on the alleged charge of trafficking seven women to overseas via New Delhi of India from Morang on Monday evening.

Phulmaya Tamang, 31, of Panchakanya VDC and Rohit Darnal of Inaruwa in Sunsari district were arrested based on a tip-off, the police said.



Earlier, the Morang Police had rescued seven trafficked women from Jogbani Railway Station, the Nepal-India border line in Morang district. The women were being trafficked to the gulf nations via New Delhi of India in the name of foreign employment. RSS
