INARUWA, Jan 23: The District Police Office, Sunsari, has seized a huge quantity of petroleum products illegally stored in Bhokraha and Laukahi VDCs.
The police impounded a total of 6,600 litre of petroleum products from the two sites on Friday evening.
Superintendent of Police Poshram Pokharel said that the police personnel seized 2,700 litres petroleum product in Bhokraha-5 this morning while smuggling by keeping in a vehicle (Ba 3 Kha 7011).
The seized fuels would be handed over to the officials of Setubandh Customs Office, Koshi Barrage.
The smuggling of petroleum products is on the rise in the district during the time of strikes and agitations in the recent days. RSS
