KATHMANDU, March 14: Legendary Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali has arrived in Nepal for his much-anticipated performance.
Ali landed in Kathmandu on Thursday evening via Dubai, accompanied by his 11-member band. He is set to perform at the Ghulam Ali: Three Generations on One Stage event, scheduled for Saturday in Pulchowk, Lalitpur.
Sadhana Kala Kendra is organizing the event, which will feature performances by Ali's son, Amir, and grandson, Nazir, making it a unique three-generation musical experience.
This marks Ali's first-ever performance in Nepal.
The celebrated ghazal singer has also lent his voice to several Nepali songs and ghazals, including the popular Gajalu Ti Thula Thula Aankha, Kina Kina Timro Tasbir, Lolaeka Ti Thula, Ke Chha Ra Diun, and Nidharma.
